me, c-ray, and carmello on the podium. syrae took me in the sprint for the win and then carmen and sparky had a mad dash for third and fifth place. (technically fourth)
during the awards we had a stand in for carmen since she had to go cool down with her coach corey hart. (no not the 80's heart throb/singer, the cycling coach.) notice the strategic placement of my helmet. ct much?

how cool is this. they had a saeco espresso machine all set up at the race, and it was so very deelish. sparky getting her spark on.
jon on the podium with the national time trial champion, baldwin, and the most winningest (that's a word in bike racing) active racer in the u.s., moninger.
on my way to the race i had a very rare mr. turtle sighting. this guy is like 200 years old (embellishment, i have no idea how old he or she is) and 200 lbs. and he lives in a pond by our house. i was going to have sparky go stand by mr. turtle to show his size, but i was scared he would eat her.
