i did a pre-ride of the koppenpoo yesterday, and i took some pics for some people wondering about the road conditions. the dirt looks really good, almost like riding on pavement, and there isn't any gravel.

the hill has potential for "endoing" at the very base. there is a dip that fits your front wheel perfectly, so be careful there. otherwise it is in good condition aside from some gravel on the first part.

Did they scrape it since I rode it on Monday? The hill is by far the worst that it has been in 10 years. If Jon thought that Carter Lake was dangerous and needed cancelling, then surely he feels the same about hitting that ditch at 25 mph with 100 of your soon to be "close" buddies.

There's a big difference between 100 of your closest chamois clad buddies and heap ton of rv's towing boats. I road it several times yesterday morning and saw nothing "dangerous" about it. If you can't handle it at speed or with others, slow down.
