cousin griffin, with a little man wink and a thumbs up, made a sam wii character so he can play tennis when visiting at christmas.

we take our coffee machine cleaning on the capresso c1000 seriously. air compressors can be used for more than just blowing out your sprinklers in the winter.

yesterday was the louisville cyclocross race put on by boulder racing. as usual, i love this course. the weather was perfect (for me) and i managed to push myself for 6 laps without wanting to quit. that's always a big deal when i don't want to quit a race, it means my fitness is coming around. i still placed poorly in the results, but again, i didn't want to quit. (i did have a squishy back tire though, and i was kinda hoping it would blow, but that's different then wanting to quit...i think.)


we had over 60 women racing yesterday. granted half of them were from team tough girl, but still cyclocross is alive and well in women's colorado racing. now let's transfer this over to road racing and our problems are solved.

jon, baby sam, and i are so blessed to have the granny nanny stop by once a week and give us a baby break. he thinks she is really fun, and loves her high energy.


i've noticed her high energy comes in an energy drink branded towards the diet pepsi generation... i.e. baby boomers.

okay, it may be time to retire these pajamas, it is now pretty much a man short unitard.

jon and i went to visit my family in texas. here are all the cousins, ryan, gracen, griffin and little baby sam.


it was so warm while we were there we broke out the plastic pools and went for a swim.

dear virtual readers, i have been on a vacation for a week. there was slow internets on my vacation so i chose to abandon the blog. i will be back to blogging tomorrow.
