Happy Halloween!

jon and i sitting in a really large chair getting ready to watch some arrested development.

had dinner at anne and mark's house. cooked up a dee-lish dish or chicken with a mushroom sauce. i love cooking at their house because they have state of the art appliances, and it is extra clean because it never gets used.

dea huff called today worried about the bike she sold me for 300 big ones. (since i did that big endo-crash and all) don't worry dea. the bike is still in great shape, and is offically my new favorite bike to ride in the off-season.

go husband, run with that bike!

meeegan cooked a delicious dish last night for our "girl's night". the girls were anne lanoon, erin huckmeister, and meegan, and me.

Unfortunately bridgeeet was under the weather and couldn't make it. get well bridge. she has a marathon coming up in DC this weekend, so let's hope she gets well really quick.

meegan also has this sweet wireless hookup in her house where the music goes all over her set up speakers. this is us trying to figure it out.

very perplexing.

too bad that comcast sucks that far north in boulder because all of us south boulder tech heads are sucking up the good broadband.

jon told me about a cool place to ride my cyclocross bike out by our house. so, i went and found it, and it was pretty cool. however...

...if you ever come to something that looks like this, don't stick your tire in between the boards, pick a board and go with it. i thought that these boards would stay put, and with my fat cyclocross tires everything would be just peachy...

...it wasn't. i put my wheel right in between the two boards, my front wheel went down and hit the ditch bottom, and i managed to scrape up my "bad" elbow. again!

anne and i did a great cyclocross ride today around town. it took us four hours, 1.75 of which were actually riding our bikes.

we stopped by to see bridget and brandon at noon and brandon showed us his new car. this is something like a '81 subaru. true vintage, i like the golden brown color too. he bought it for $900 it is his "commuter car". wonder how many miles per gallon he gets on that hog...

then we went to hang out with the cool kids at the north boulder amante, and i wore my helmet through the entire coffee stop. (i commented on how much i hate it when other people don't take off their helmets when they come in for a cup of coffee. look at me, the total hypocrite.)

no this is not a pile of dirty clothes, it is a pile of jerseys that i bought at veloswap today in denver. i went in around 1 p.m. when everyone was ready to be done selling their bike gear and start lowering their prices. it was perfect timing because i got almost all of these jerseys for $5, the most i spent was $33 on a team discovery, but i know it will be worth it plus some when i sell it on ebay.

if any bike racers are reading this and didn't get rid of all of their cycling stuff make sure to contact me. i'll be happy to take some of your goods off of your hands.

bridget runs from our house with all the latest technology. gps is very "in" right now, as well as pink mini ipods. such the trend setter.

tonight jon's parents stopped by and had a disk full of pictures for us. this is one of our favorites from the night. everyone is very happy, and stan and ollie are enjoying my iced americano. those kids!!!

GO HUNTWICK, GO HUNTWICK!!!

todd, jill, gracen, and griffin made it to disneyland or world, whichever one is in orlando. not good, because i think there is a hurricane headed there. i have a call into them hoping they are getting out early.

jon and i watched the longest yard tonight, it was a pretty funny movie. problem with the movie is that now i want to go to jail and play football with all of the inmates. it really glorified being in jail, i would say, not a good thing for the kids today.

went on a evening ride tonight with syrae after the big football game on t.v.



jon made super duper pancakes this morning.

jon worked all morning on fitting, cleaning, and fine tuning my $300.00 redline cyclocross bike that cost $157.00 to ship from fairbanks, alaska. what a deal, thanks ben and dea! thanks jon for working on the bike. he's the best bike mechanic there is!

Anne and Buddy the miniature mule that lives on her newly acquired property in Hygiene, Colorado. Buddy takes pride in his appearance and takes after his hometown.

Anne also acquired that yellow thing in the background that she currently houses folks in, making her a true slumlord.

jon and i have an 8:30 a.m. appointment to get a tour and possibly start lifting weights and swimming in an outdoor pool year round. that is something i am looking very forward to, that way i won't lose my tan. my kauai color is fading fast though.

it's been raining all day and night, but no snow. they predicted 6-12 inches but we just got a lot of rain.

jeremy (jhk) and heather tied the knot last night at an awesome ceremony and a super star studded party at the rembrant yard.

jon and i are dancing and excited that we weren't the ones getting married this time!
