after 80 miles on the bike saturday sam gave mommy and daddy a massage. it's a zen therapy type of massage where he bangs on your back as hard as he can and laughs the whole time. then he pulls on your hair and starts playing with your nose. it's all the rage on the west coast, and it's catching on fast in colorado.

today my mom watched sam for a whopping 9 hours while jon and i drove to the boonies to race our bikes. sam had a great time with his mimi.

you know that old saying, "a mother's work is never done"? well guess what... it is true. even when i'm about to walk out the door to do a ride, hence the helmet, there's always a baby to be fed, a toy to put away, a fall to brush off, and poopie diapers to be changed.

daddy and sam enjoy their favorite video, i love cat machines. apparently this video is a collectors item because it is quite pricey on amazon. sam got his from fun uncle todd.

Madre and padre babysat today so mommy and daddy could play bike racer. In this picture sam is trying to get down to the grass so he can eat it.

the zoo was fun, and sam loved the zebras and hogs. (very few people were hanging out by the hogs) lisa and i got a lot of comments about toting the kids around on our backs, mostly about how smart we are, and how fun for the kids. (yes, we know) we were also very careful not to touch ANYTHING at the zoo. (pig flu, oh, i mean N1H1Z2F1 pandemic) the highlight for me may have been the slurpee that i bought for $3.00.
