renee was the toughest out of our whole crew this weekend. 15 miles into the race today it started pouring rain and was 39 degrees. we were riding in oregon so the roads were all mossy and slippery. not good conditions. anne and i opted out at the first feed zone because our hands were drenched and frozen, and our teeth were chattering. Alex and SyRae happened to be at the first feed zone. in our eyes they were two angels on the side of the road with a warm volvo station wagon to get into. we bailed.
