jon hiking on the lava rocks in princeville to get to the queen's bath.
okay, this was really cool, that is me shaped like a four legged spider in the queen's bath. it was so nice, jon and i walked down to this from our hotel right after a big storm came through so no one was there and the tide was perfect for frolicking in the water. later on these old ladies (that just couldn't get their hair wet) and their husbands came and ruined our private queen's bath. this is one of the top three great things to do in kauai on my list.
swimming in the baths was like swimming in a big aquarium. i kept saying it over and over to jon, "this is like we are swimming in an aquarium!" good times.

tunnels beach
tunnels beach was by far the best place to snorkel. the reefs are insane, and the fishies are everywhere. jon and i both got our first sunburns on our backs here. not bad for being here for a week. we kinda slipped up on the sunscreen today since it was rainy and overcast when we got up.
