this photo stolen from sparky's blog makes me feel better about the snow in boulder. snow in the most perfect place, santa barbara. why do i feel better knowing it is crappy in s.b. too?
i really shouldn't complain. here is dea riding with an animal around her head, a full down comforter in form of a jacket, and her friend with fluorescent green down boxing gloves just to stay warm when it is 5 degrees.

they are called pogies, they are down warmers and go over your shifters too so you can ride when it is 40 below.
I'm flattered that you'd pirate pics from my blog. These So Cal folks are real wimpy when it comes to riding in the cold. It was like 50 degrees today and folks had full on booties and head gators. It was nutz.
ride when it is 40 BELOW! INSANE! i am one of those "Cal Folks" who doesn't ride unless it is above 50 - that would be 50 ABOVE zero for any polar bear folks.
