today i went on a four our ride where i went along the ridge above santa barbara called camino cielo. it was like i was climbing in the clouds it was awesome. awesome until i realized that i was bonking and i didn't have any food. so the whole way down the mountain and the curvey roads that lead back to the montecito digs i was hallucinating about a hot shower, a nap, and a some water.
i get home and there are four men standing in the garage just starting to put in the new water softener for the house. i was parched, dirty as hell, tired and bonking. these dudes tell me that the water is turned off and will be until they finish... 3 hours later. i was pretty upset, i had to go to trader joes to get water, and then no shower and i couldn't sleep because i was caked in sweat. here is a picture of the culprit. it is kinda cool looking, but i still hate it.

that sux dude! i would have totally been bummed too... especially if i was bonking! im not sure what that even means.
