carving the pumpkin... sam was very interested in the knives, but not so much with carving the pumpkin
.

when presented with two costumes (lightning mcqueen and a ghost) sam picked up a pool floatie and insisted he was wearing it as his costume.


two houses into the night he started to understand that costume = candy, and put on his scary ghost cape. he kept repeating, "i love treats" and "i a ghost, whoooo" as we trotted to each house.

jon and i both decided that going trick or treating with our little boy was truly a treat. we had an awesome time.
