
this is a fine example of what i call the helmet lock. it is what you do when you don't have a lock, and want to run in and get a cup of coffee. just think, the "perp" will try to take your bike, but then they will encounter a problem: a buckled helmet. most likely they will leave it because unbuckling the helmet is just too much.
yes, you can use this genius idea too, just think of me when you use it.

we do this with the added security of changing the gears to an extreme position, so if they try to pedal the chain will drop - and we will jump on the perps.
