jon and i went to visit my family in texas. here are all the cousins, ryan, gracen, griffin and little baby sam.
it was so warm while we were there we broke out the plastic pools and went for a swim.

mimi got to bond with her new grandson by reading brown bear.
and popi was a big fan of holding sam when he wasn't fussing.
sam didn't fuss a lot on the trip though, and he was a superstar plane traveler. (pic below is of him sitting in the empty seat on the plane. jon and i though it was funny.)
