sam is now standing.
he reads his book about faces.
he chews on his "music for a gifted baby" tape since we haven't owned a tape player in over five years we figure it is best used for teething.
he has some monkeys in his shirt. (thankfully not on his back.)
this weekend the madre watched mr. sam while mommy and daddy raced bikes. mommy raced crappy and needed some teammates, and daddy got 8th.

great to see you guys!!! steve got a GREAT picture of sam and teton. i'll try to post it...but i kinda can't deal with photos. awesome riding with you too!! we freaking froze our butts off and turned back at the top of superyames
